Optimizing & managing load and unload operations inside a logistic terminal

These shipments are divided into:

• CoDi (Collection/Delivery) – local delivery and collection of shipments,
• Linehaul – the transfer of shipments between terminals.

Additionally, the application enables communication between the dispatcher and the truck driver (chat) and task automation (regular tours).

The main module is responsible for most of the logic executed by our application.

Tasks

• Receiving shipments from another system and displaying them as available for specific branches.
• Creating tours (CoDi/Linehaul) and enabling the loading of a given shipment.

Implementation

• Designing an intuitive user interface that allows for the visualization of shipments.
• Optimizing the system to display various details.

History-service

The goal of the project was to offload the main system and separate the logic responsible for tracking and recording the history of a given shipment.
