We listen to our employees and support initiatives that are particularly important to them and in which they invest their energy and heart. That's why j‑labs' CSR is so close to our people. As part of the "Help & Sponsor with j‑labs" program, employees can submit initiatives that are close to their hearts and receive help from j‑labs: financial, organizational and promotional.
Under this program:
💻 children in Ghana got their own computer class,
🎹 children from the Music School in Rożnów received support for the purchase of a piano,
🚒 firefighters from the Volunteer Fire Department from Żelisławice have professional equipment,
🪄 Code Wizards got funds for organizing classes for children,
🥊 Cancer Fighters got finances to fight cancer,
🔧 children from the Special School Complex No. 14 in Krakow got funds for the renovation of the common room.
- A Java Developer at j‑labs, and privately a firefighter at the Volunteer Fire Department, asked j‑labs to finance professional equipment for the Volunteer Fire Department in Żelisławice! “The donated equipment improved the combat capabilities of our unit. Thanks j‑labs!”
- IT Recruitment Expert, after hours involved in the development of the Andrzej Krupczyński First Degree Music School in Rożnów. At Ewelina's request, we supported the school twice; by funding a professional sound system and taking part in the "Play with us for pianos" campaign, making a solid contribution to the purchase of these instruments for the school.
- Thanks to Kasia and Piotr Bucki, a j-labs software specialists computer room was established at the Kids Haven School in Ghana, founded by Omenaa Mensah. An educational plan has been created for children, which includes computer basics, learning English, mathematics and robotics. Another two computer rooms will be built in Polish orphanages.
- DevOps Engineer as well as co-creator of the "Code Wizards" initiative. Mateusz invited us to sponsor this substantive and perfectly prepared programming event for the youngest.
- IT consultant, practicing semi-professional boxing after hours. He fought during the 16th Boxing Challenge Gala of the Cancer Fighters Foundation to raise funds for the fight against cancer of one of the Foundation's patients. j‑labs financially supported both fighters. What's more, the Gala managed to raise PLN 230,000 for treatment!
- IT Recruitment Team Leader, after hours involved in the Lions Club Kraków - Stare Miasto. In cooperation with j‑labs, she launched a fundraising campaign for the renovation of a common room for children from the Special School Complex No. 14 in Kraków.
